About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Infinity AI Technology Labs, Inc. for your use of LAVERTY: the app, on phones and on the web, and the lavertyai.com website. They apply together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information LAVERTY collects, where it is sent, how long it is kept and how you can erase it.
LAVERTY is an Arabic–English legal AI service for UAE law. It answers questions, analyses case files and documents, drafts and reviews legal documents, translates, and helps you find and read UAE laws. The features available to you depend on whether you use LAVERTY as a lawyer or as an individual (see below), and may also depend on your plan.
By signing in to LAVERTY or using it, you agree to these terms. The app also asks you to agree to them before you first use it, and again when they change materially, and LAVERTY keeps a record of the version you agreed to and when. If you do not agree, do not use LAVERTY.
If you use LAVERTY for a law firm, a company or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and these terms then apply to both you and that organisation.
If you have a separate written agreement with us about your subscription, that agreement prevails where it differs from these terms.
Who provides LAVERTY
LAVERTY is made and run by Infinity AI Technology Labs, Inc., a corporation incorporated in Delaware, United States.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Infinity AI Technology Labs, Inc.

Who can use LAVERTY
LAVERTY is available by invitation and subscription: an email address can be used to sign in only after we approve it, and an approved address may be used only by the person it belongs to.
When we invite you, we tell you whether you are invited as a lawyer or as an individual. The section of these terms for that kind of user applies to you, together with the rest of these terms. If that does not match how you use LAVERTY, tell us.
You must be at least 18 years old, counted in Gregorian years, and legally able to make a binding contract.
If you use LAVERTY as a lawyer
This section applies if we invited you as a lawyer. That includes advocates, legal consultants and other legal professionals who use LAVERTY in their legal work.
LAVERTY is a professional drafting and research tool that supports your work.
LAVERTY does not replace a lawyer's professional judgment. If you use LAVERTY as a lawyer, you alone are responsible for how you use its output, including any advice you give your clients and any document you file. Check everything LAVERTY produces, including every fact, citation and argument, against the documents and the law before you rely on it, give it to a client, or file it with a court or any other authority.
You are responsible for your professional duties, including client confidentiality and the rules of your profession. Decide what client material to upload in line with those duties; the Privacy Policy names the outside AI services that receive it.
Your use of LAVERTY creates no relationship between us and your clients.
If you use LAVERTY as an individual
This section applies if we invited you as an individual, to use LAVERTY for your own affairs rather than in legal work.
LAVERTY gives general information about UAE law. It is not legal advice, and it cannot take account of everything about your situation that a lawyer would.
For individuals, LAVERTY explains UAE law in general terms, in answer to your questions. It does not draft contracts or court documents for you, and does not review your documents as a lawyer would.
Using LAVERTY does not create a lawyer–client relationship between you and us, or between you and anyone else. We are not a law firm, and we do not act for you.
Before you act on anything LAVERTY tells you, or decide not to act, consult a lawyer licensed to practise in the UAE. This matters most before you sign a document, pay or claim money, file anything with a court or an authority, or let a deadline pass.
Legal deadlines can be short. Do not delay getting a lawyer's advice because of anything LAVERTY says.
LAVERTY is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact the police or the emergency services.
AI output can be wrong
LAVERTY's answers, analyses, drafts, reviews and translations are made with artificial intelligence. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it sounds certain. It can misstate facts, misread a document, cite a law or an article that does not say what is claimed, or miss a recent change in the law.
LAVERTY's citation check compares the laws and articles cited in its drafts, analyses and reviews with LAVERTY's own library of UAE laws. The check reduces errors but does not remove them: the library does not hold every law, regulation or court decision, and a citation that passes the check can still be applied wrongly. Other output, such as answers and translations, may not be checked in this way.
We do not guarantee any outcome in any case or matter, and we do not promise that any output is accurate, complete or right for your purpose.
Read the law itself before you rely on a citation.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your approved email address. Keep your email account secure, and do not share sign-in codes, your account or a signed-in device with anyone else.
You are responsible for what is done through your account, unless it results from our failure to keep LAVERTY secure.
If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at once at m.maamoun@infinityailabs.tech.
Subscription and fees
Access to LAVERTY is by subscription. Your plan, its fees, how and when they are paid, how long the subscription lasts, and how it renews or ends are as agreed between you and us when you are invited, or later in writing.
LAVERTY does not take payments inside the app.
LAVERTY applies daily usage limits to its AI features, to keep the service running well for everyone. Your plan may set other limits too.
If fees are not paid when due, we may suspend your access after telling you.
Acceptable use
Use LAVERTY lawfully and in good faith. In particular:
Do not use LAVERTY for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to help anyone else do so.
Do not upload or enter material that you have no right to use or share, such as another person's confidential information or personal data, unless you are allowed to share it.
Do not try to get around LAVERTY's security, sign-in, invitation or usage limits, or to reach any account, case or data that is not yours.
Do not probe, scan or test LAVERTY's systems for weaknesses without our written permission; do not disrupt or overload them; and do not upload anything harmful, such as malicious files or code.
Do not copy, scrape or extract LAVERTY's content or data in bulk, by automated means or otherwise.
Do not resell, rent, sublicense or share access to LAVERTY, or offer it as part of another product or service, without our written agreement.
Do not copy, decompile or reverse engineer LAVERTY's software, except where the law allows it, and do not use LAVERTY or its output to build a competing product.
Your material stays yours
As between you and us, the material you put into LAVERTY (your case material, documents, instructions and questions) and the output LAVERTY produces for you are yours. We claim no ownership of them.
You allow us to store, copy, process and transmit your material only to provide LAVERTY to you: to run the features you use, keep your work available to you, keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your material, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Some features send your material to outside AI services, and only after you agree in the app. The Privacy Policy names these services and what each receives, and explains how to get a copy of your information and how to delete it.
You confirm that you have the right to put your material into LAVERTY and to let us process it as these terms describe.
Our rights in LAVERTY
LAVERTY, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us or to those who license it to us. These terms give you a personal right to use LAVERTY while your access lasts, which you cannot transfer, and no other right in it.
Availability and changes to LAVERTY
We work to keep LAVERTY available and secure, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. It may pause for maintenance, or when a service it relies on is unavailable.
We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes a significant part of what you subscribed for, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can. If it does, you may end your subscription and we will refund any fees you paid for the time after it ends.
Keep your own copies of anything important.
Deadline reminders, including reminder emails, are only an aid: they can be delayed or missed, and you remain responsible for keeping track of your own deadlines.
Suspending or ending your access
You can stop using LAVERTY at any time, and you can delete your account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deleting your account does not by itself end your subscription. To end your subscription, contact us; it ends as agreed with you, and in any case you may end it by giving us the same notice that we must give you under this section.
We may suspend or end your access, or withdraw the approval of your email address, if you break these terms, if fees are not paid when due, if the law requires it, or if we must do so to protect LAVERTY, its users or anyone else. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
We may also end your access, or stop offering LAVERTY, for any other reason, by telling you at least 30 days in advance. If we do, we will refund any fees you paid for the time after your access ends.
When your access ends, you can no longer sign in. You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, as the Privacy Policy explains.
The sections on AI output, your material, our rights in LAVERTY, disclaimers, limits on our liability, claims against us caused by your use, and law and disputes continue to apply after your access ends.
Disclaimers
LAVERTY is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no promises about LAVERTY other than those in these terms, including any promise that it will suit a particular purpose or that its output will be accurate.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under a law that cannot be set aside by agreement, such as consumer protection law.
Limits on our liability
LAVERTY's output must be checked before it is relied on, as these terms explain: by you, if you use LAVERTY as a lawyer, or by a lawyer licensed to practise in the UAE, if you use it as an individual. So, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that results from relying on output without that check.
If you use LAVERTY as a lawyer, then, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, business, revenue or goodwill, or for loss of data not caused by our failure to take reasonable care of it.
If you use LAVERTY as a lawyer, then, to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected with LAVERTY or these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and AED 10,000.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud or gross fault, for death or personal injury, for liability arising from a harmful act where the law does not allow it to be excluded or reduced, or for anything else for which the law does not allow liability to be limited or excluded. If you use LAVERTY as an individual, nothing in this section limits your right to compensation under consumer protection law.
Claims against us caused by your use
If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms, used LAVERTY unlawfully, or put into LAVERTY material you had no right to use, you will compensate us for the reasonable losses and costs we incur as a result, to the extent the law allows, except to the extent the claim results from our own breach of these terms or our own fault. If you use LAVERTY as an individual, this applies only where you acted deliberately or negligently.
We will tell you about any such claim promptly, and let you take part in responding to it.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when LAVERTY or the law changes. We will tell you about a material change by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the new version will show its date at the top.
A change needed for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner; we will tell you about it as soon as we can.
If you do not agree to a change, you can end your subscription by telling us before the change takes effect, and we will refund any fees you paid for the time after it ends. If you keep using LAVERTY after it takes effect, the new terms apply to you from then on.
Law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or about LAVERTY, are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied there, and the Dubai Courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
Before starting proceedings, please contact us, so that we can try to resolve the issue with you first.
Nothing in this section takes away any right you have, under a law that cannot be set aside by agreement, to bring a claim in another court.
General
These terms, anything we agree with you in writing about your subscription, and your agreement in the app to the use of outside AI services are the whole agreement between you and us about LAVERTY. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest of them still applies.
If we do not enforce a right at once, we can still enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written agreement. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over LAVERTY; we will tell you if we do, and your rights under these terms will not be reduced.
We may send you notices by email to your approved address or in the app. You can send notices to us by email or by post, at the addresses above.
These terms are published in English and in Arabic. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
